Platts Farm Wedding Photography - Helen & Paul

Welcome to my latest blog which features Helen and Paul who were married at St Marys and Christ Church in Llanfairfechan. This stunning church dates back to 1864 and is 7 miles west of the walled market town of Conwy in North Wales. The day began with meeting Paul and Helen at Platts Farm where they untraditionally spent the night together before glamping on site in a luxury bell tent. The champagne flowed whilst Helen and her girls prepared for the day,  it was then off to the church to say I do. The Celebrations then followed at the beautiful and exclusive Platts Farm which hosts just four weddings each year. The farm was just a hop and a skip over the road from the church. Although the forecast looked decidedly unsettled the sun shone through with just some light rain showers early morning, but this didn't dampen any spirits. I originally met Helen whilst shooting the wedding of her cousin Janice.  I was delighted when she asked me to capture her and Pauls special day. So much planning, crafting and help from friends and family went into this wedding and it really does show through their personalities and represents Helen and Paul as couple. It was such a fun day with non stop laughter. The guests tucked into afternoon tea and free flowing alcohol followed by a hog roast supplied by the lovely Oink Haus in the evening, which I confirm was delicious. The bridal party headed to the breath taking  Llanfarirfechan beach for some atmospheric photo's and fun. Still being May the wind was against us and it nearly knocked us off our feet, only adding to the fun. I nearly pulled a Marilyn Monroe on a couple of occasions, thank god I had control of the camera! The fun continued through the night with music, fun, laughter, fires and of course the obligatory toasted marshmallows. I hope you enjoy a selection of some of my favourite photos from the day. Please get in touch if you would like me to capture your special day
